Basic Screener Course

This comprehensive course provides users with training on what they need to know to be good security checkpoint operatives.
The course outlines the required information new-hire screeners need to know, from the basic information through to the more complex parts of the job. During their learning experience they will be asked to complete various quizzes and tests that must be taken in order to finish the course successfully. The complete course can consist of either pure theory lessons or theory combined with X-Screen Simulator practical sessions. Course lessons include operating the hand wand, passenger search, baggage search, image recognition, archway metal detector operation and much more.

The Mailroom Threat Awareness course covers essential information that needs to be fully understood by staff likely to encounter a suspect package. Available on-line so that it can be taken whenever and wherever is most convenient, the course is broken down into manageable modules covering subjects such as the History & Recent Events of such devices, the Types of Devices and the consequences of not correctly identifying them, Basic Mail Sorting, and general Health & Safety procedures in the mailroom.

Telephone Bomb Threat Course

Dealing with bomb warnings is not easy as the more conventional communication avenues are restricted i.e. you cannot see who you are talking to, so it is vital that the greatest amount of information as possible is gained from the telephone call.

This program is not intended to train a person to become a bomb-threat assessor. The CD is a training aid for any person who may answer a telephone at their place of work and could potentially receive a bomb threat over the phone.

The aim of the program is to ensure students are fully aware of the correct procedure to follow so they can retain and record as much information as possible should they be subjected to such a call.
By the end of the educational CD users will, through discussion and skill practice, be able to:

Identify the types of people or groups who may make a telephone bomb threat
Understand the callers motivation and objectives
Recognize the difficulty of recording information from the spoken word
Describe what action should be taken during the call
Describe what action to take after the call has ended
